Basement Renovation -Electrical Breaker Boxes

Hi, Currently have electrical service with main Lug Circuit Breaker Panel 100 amps for first and second floor apartments.

Recently added a second 100 amps panel (20 space) MC 10/3 for basement renovation using a two pole 50 amps circuit breaker from main panel. All lights, kitchen, bathroom, and water on demand heater connected to this panel.

Added a third panel 8 spaces for yard lights and wall mounted Mitsubishi ductless air conditioner 24,000 BTU. Using MC 8/3 from second panel to third panel using a two pole 30 amps circuit breaker (air conditioner and yard lights).

-Main Panel box 100 amps (feeds first and second floors)
-Second Panel box for basement 50 amps (may need to upgrade wire to MC 6/3 wire)
-Third Panel box for Yard & AC 30 amps MC 8/3 wire

. Should I upgrade MC wire from main to second panel?

Without a doubt, considering you're running 30A wire on a 50A breaker. Plus, the load you've listed sounds like you're pushing every bit of that 50A with an A/C, kitchen ckts and water heater.

Apartments are not DIY unless you have a license. Hire an electrician...

Why would you put a 10/3 wire on a 50a breaker?

How many tenants are living in this building? Or are you the only one living here?

And why would you put an 8/3 wire on a 30a breaker?

youre all over the place here.

As said above, you need a license to work on a multi-unit building

Is this main lug panel really the main service panel?

Whats outside by the meter? just the meter or is there a disconnect?
