Basic concrete paint

I need to repaint part of my basement floor. Looking for something simple and quick for an area that does not have heavy use. I want to keep prep simple, so no etching, grinding, or sanding. Just mop the existing floor and remove any loose paint. If i primer would help longevity, i'm game for that.

Want to be able to buy at a local store, so HD, Lowes, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, etc are the options.

Any recommendations?

Oil-based porch paint? There's a water based porch paint, but I don't think it holds up well to abrasion.

Just realized there was an error in my post. The area does not have heavy use.

Have you done a moisture test first? It doesn't matter what paint you put down, if you have moisture vapor the paint is going to peel.

The more durable concrete paints are 1-part epoxy (still a latex acrylic), but they all recommend etching the surface. If you don't want to do any prep then just apply any brand of latex acrylic concrete paint. It real won't matter that much. They cost around $25 a gallon on average, sometimes less. If the paint eventually peels after a while you can just scrape and repaint. A concrete paint primer will help with adhesion.

The floor has been painted for years with no lifting. Except in a few bare spots, this would be just another coat.

I can prime the bare spots, but they are zero traffic areas (behind the water heater and water filters, mostly) so i'm not really worried.

I used Moore N122 water based floor and patio paint . Applied directly over the black adhesive when we pulled up Vinyl Comp Tiles on a concrete floor. Went down easy and worked under normal foot traffic for a couple years. Got flooded with salt water- no harm to coating.

As an aside, I used the left over paint on the old stained, asphalt shingled roof of a shed. Looked like new and held up outside for a couple years until shed was knocked down.
