I often carry tools, chainsaw, etc. in the bucket of our tiny Kubota B5100, but every so often I'd forget and dump it on the ground. To get around this, I bought a carrying basket for a ATV and made a sturdy (leftover 3/8" x 3" and 3/8" x 4") bracket to support it off the ROPS. The round bars supporting the basket are leftover 3/4" galv water pipe; I pressed in 1/2" nuts into the ends and tacked the nuts in place in place so I can bolt on some Unistrut to carry other misc stuff. I'm going to add a scabbard for the chainsaw and perhaps the hedge trimmer as well.

I tacked the bracket pieces together and drilled them on the split line to make the cut-outs for the 3/4" pipe:

The 1 hp 20" drill press I got on FB Marketplace has been earning its keep; it's so nice to have a drill press that
will turn at 150 rpm for jobs like this.
