Anyone here put hardwood basketball type flooring in a garage type building before. I am looking to build a 30x42 from scratch and I do not want to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks

Have you ever dealt with basketball courts personally? Most college and above courts area actually portable, they come apart in 4x8ish sections weighting in around 250lbs each so the arenas can host other events. I worked in such an arena a few years ago.

I'd think it's a little soft for a shop/garage. And expensive. 3-4" thick, couple layers. First time you roll a jack across it: GOUGE. Anything with wheels/feet harder than pneumatic tires: DENT.

Is your garage have climate and humidity controls? Most gym that have real maple floors require at the least a humidity control system.

The TrueLock Plus sport product was made for exactly that purpose and works very well. Also the Sport Court drain tiles work well. I would be happy to send you some samples of both.. Just drop me a PM with your contact info
