bat 501 geman blow torch

Can anyone tell ma anything about a bat 501 blow torch ? I got a little info from a German forum. But i can not find any English forums about them or even anything mentioned about them in English. I know that is a gasoline torch but not much else about it.

Yeah that was one of the few things I could figure out. Mine seams to be in excellent cond. But it has a check valve on the gas cap and I can not put much pressure in the can before the check valve starts leaking. I don't know if that is the way it should be or if the check valve spring is weak. The spring looks good and has good strength. So I want to make sure that it is right before i try the thing out.

i read that everything must be sealed otherwise the whole thing might go up in flames ....i guess because of the age it might be leaking. Several people in these forums seem to have that problem....

Ok ty. I'll see if i can get that leak fixed before I think about trying it out lol.
