Bathroom floor material

Bathroom floor got wet and needs replacement what material should I use? there is a bathtub with shower and a sink.The contractor wants to use osb,i was thinking exterior grade plywood of some sort(luan) maybe? The top floor covering will be just sheet vinyl.

Short of a major water leak or flood the vinyl floor should be fine over plywood or OSB. Cement-type boards like hardi boards might be overkill but will be better against dampness protection.
