There is nothing more fun that remodel a bathroom in an old well worn house, usually by the time you get there its not simple. Had a good days work and did a lot and doesn't look a bit different than yesterday.

I aint no Tommy Silva wannabee. That would get old in a hurry. I got a couple 3 remodels I have been putting off and my crew is pretty thin and green. If I don't jump on it things come to a slowdown in a hurry. About the same as working on cars, same **** different day.

I've been hiring left and right lately! It is great that the work just keeps rolling in! I've been non stop since January of last year. Currently have 3 bathrooms, 2 basement finish jobs. and a bunch of small stuff on the calendar. My goal is to get one or two independent crews that can run a job without me holding their hands. Problem with a bunch of green new hires is that you need to watch for several weeks before you can trust them to do something on their own.

Never worked for me. The only way that works is if you pay the lead man as much as you would pay yourself. If you make a profit then that's your's to keep. Sometimes there won't be anything left and you'll wonder why you bother with the 2nd crew.

Yea, that has been my fear and it has kept me from starting another crew. I'm just so dang busy and something is going to have to give...
