Can the fan unit and the light unit be on the same switch/timer?
Thanks for the replies.
There are three dedicated 20A bathoom circuits being put in. One for the gfci receptacles. One for the heater and one for the lights.
The heater is one of those vent/light/heater units. I will only want that light and the fan on one switch/timer. The other six can lights will be controlled by two other light switches.
Load capacity wise, I am fine. I just did not know if there was any code prohibiting the exhaust fan and light being controlled by one switch.
Thanks guys. By the way, is there anything more of a pain in the azz than trying to stuff cold 12/2 wires and connectors in one of these fan/light/heat combos? Could they have made the wiring compartment any freaking smaller?
Holy ****, that bathroom must be the size of my house to have three dedicated circuits in it.
thats why you use 14-3 for the fan/light.
