Batteries for B & D tools

I have several black and decker firestorm tools. I have three 18v batteries that have all crapped out and won't take or hold a charge. I've found some online that say they are 1500mah and some that say 2000mah. Are there any better batteries I can get? I have too many B&D tools to throw them away and start over.

Look around locally for some one who rebuilds them.
I have a person locally{PA} who does and it is a much cheaper way to go.
