battery charger repair -help !

i have got 2 of these snap-off chargers both bit the bullet -one had a loose wire in back - one still dont charge a full load -i think ? the other does nothing ! bad rectifier ? cant seem to find anybody around here that will repair ??? any electric gurus out there that can walk me thru a repair coarse on these chargers ? thanks mike

Pretty much the idea is fix obvious bad or broken wiring, then use a meter to see if or which main parts are bad.

Start with the pictures, inside and out.

Kind of related, where could I find a Amp meter for a forty year old Marquette battery charger, Model 39-110.
