Battery charger with Desulficate mode

What’s a good buy not overly expensive battery charger with a Desulficate mode?

I have several cars that get parked for the winter plus my travel trailer, so I have lots of batteries.
I normally bring the batteries in to the garage for the winter both to help prevent car theft and to help the batteries last longer.
Over the winter I rotate the batteries on a small 2aml charger with a float mode to keep them topped up.

Two of my batteries are getting weak and don’t hold a charge like they used to, I’m thinking a Desulficating charger might buy me another year or two.

I don’t need a high amp or fast charger because I have about 6 months before these batteries go back in service.

Any suggestions.

I have a Cetek MUS4.3 and a Noco Genius 10 that both have a desulfication function. I bought the Noco because it does both 6V and 12V, which might be important depending on what kind of trailer battery setup you have (or if you have a golf cart).

I have a pair of CTEK MXS 5.0 maintainers and a couple of older models, all in near continuous use. I like 'em a lot. If you're looking for "cheap", these probably aren't for you. If you're looking for "good", I'd say give 'em a look.

Desulfation is the first step in the 8-stage program run every time the recent-model CTEK chargers start. Some of the models also have a recondition mode, which does even more to bring a battery back to health. I've had the reconditon mode save one of my motorcycle batteries, in fact.

So, I have one of the Desulfation chargers and I honestly can't say it makes any difference. I've seen mixed reviews of these things online with some claiming they are snake oil. I honestly don't know what the truth is here but I know it hasn't seemed to do anything for any of my batteries. All my batteries are AGM style and I don't know if that makes a difference or not?

I use BatteryMinder products for desulfating. I have no idea how well the technology works, though. They make an AGM specific one (I have two of those, for Odyssey batteries), and also models for regular flooded batteries (I have one of those for my tractor's Interstate battery). The desulfating LED is always blinking on and off, indicating (I think) and pulse hit on the plates.

I have a Noco Genius 10 and recently tried it to revive the 12V sealed lead backup battery in a large APC Backup UPS. I was surprised - it actually worked! The replacement battery was almost as much as the whole UPS and was out of stock everywhere.

Otherwise, I've only used the NOCO as a maintenance charger for my seldom driven car.

After several years of trying to juggle chargers and batteries on my motorcycles I have decided just to replace them with the cheapest option every 24 months.

The Solar or similar unit has worked well for me. I've had MAC tool labeled one for years. I recently bought a el cheapo amazon special no name unit becuase i needed a 24v charger... that one works fine too (For now).

I have NOCO Genius 10. If you watch sales you can get them fairly reasonable.

^I'm with these guys. I've used my NOCO Genius 10 to desulfate several batteries, from as low as 35% health according to my battery tester. You may have to run two or three cycles, but I was able to get both batteries up to 100% health.

Put me down as another Noco Genius 10 user. I've had a 50% success rate in bringing batteries back. In all fairness the failure had been dead and sitting outside for at least five years prior to trying to save it.
