Battery charging stations

Does anybody make a battery charging station that would control a battery fire?

We've had at least 3 battery fire issues and are a little nervous about leaving batteries charging unattended.

We have around 20 batteries and quite a few chargers

That's a very good question. The answer is, I don't think anyone makes anything like that. And nobody has time to watch batteries charge, so that almost always happens unattended.

I put my unattended battery chargers on an outlet controlled with a spring wound timer. Set it for a couple of hours. Done.

Thanks not sure why I never thought of that.

Do you have any recommendations for a good quality timer?
Preferably made in the USA

Actually, somebody was nearby everytime it happened to us and damage was minimal

Not sure of the timer itself, I had it on hand when I put this together. Ignore the outlet to the left, it’s on a different circuit.

The chargers should be shutting off when the battery is charged.

This whole thing is surprising to me. I've never heard of a battery fire from this.

Search for lithium battery charging pouches or bags. Maybe that will help you.

I second using a timer. I just have a timer I got on amazon and it has a selection of times, I just hit a couple hours and it always turns off.

I have a dewalt 4 bank & once the battery is charged it goes off.

I've thought about getting a flam cabinet for battery chargers

Just revamped my station which includes cordless tools and vehicle batt charging. My BIL lost his garage to a boat fish finder on charge. Total nightmare, including atty’s to fight his Insurance weasels. My only approach was to place the station next to a man door and nothing stays hot. Kill it all when I exit.
