battery pack replacement

anyone have good luck finding replacement battery packs. ive got a makita drywall gun, never been used, it has no batteries, only drawback is its a 7.2 volt unit, looking for a good place to get reasonable priced battery packs.
My craftsman 18 volt battery packs have crapped out on me also, dont know whether to just upgrade to dewalt drills or try to find a craftsman battery pack

Ebay. There's a guy on Ebay that does rebuilds (ebay name is hagles). I just had 3 done for my 14.4 volt Porter Cable drill. Good as new at a little over half the price. In your case though (since you lack a core on the Makita), I'd just search for the battery itself, new. There are plenty of Craftsmans on there for cheap, and some makita too.

I tried to replace some 18v craftsman batteries, what a nightmare. I ended up buying new tools.
