Battery powered tool selection

I've decided I would like a set of cordless tools that share the same battery, but there is a slight twist. I want to be able to have an impact driver, cordless drill and impact wrench that share a battery with a string trimmer. So far, I've found the Ryobi ONE+ and Makita LXT lines to be the only ones who combine yard tools and shop tools with one battery line. Are there any other companies out there who do the same?

I might change my mind and buy two different sets that will each be better at their jobs, but I like the idea of fewer chargers and batteries taking up space.

Ryobi is junk home owner grade stuff...Makita is awesome but prolly gonna be up there in price for all that stuff...

Personally, I'd go dewalt or Milwaukee for the shop tools...and someone else for the weed eater(and they make those cordless now? Wow)

A string trimmer by itself with two batteries is $99.....I would take that out of the equation.

Also, the charger wont be an issue, since you will only be weedeating 3-5 months per year....put it away the rest of the time.

I'm going to echo what the others have said. Separate consideration of the garden tools from the construction/mechanical tools.

Do you have any cabinets, pegboard, or someplace you can mount the chargers? your only objection goes away if you put them in currently unused space like a cabinet door front.

I don't think you're going to get the best options by getting it all in one system.

And let the grass grow along the fences and building the rest of the year? I'm far bit farther south than Virgina.

I was hoping I had missed something Milwaukee offered. I'll probably just stick to air tools and pick up a cordless trimmer. Maybe I need a pneumatic trimmer. :D
