This is a Costco special valid November 28 thru 30 only. They don't get any cheaper than this!

These are regularly cheaper on ebay with two day shipping included. Don't have to drive anywhere.

That was my first thought, but the lower price is on the Battery Tender JR, not the plus which is more like $45 on sale, and the few places I see plus advanced at its more like $60.

I'm not sure what they are for really. A Tender Jr. will work on anything you need and for under $20. It is half an Amp more than a Jr. but I have no issues with a Jr. charging/maintaining even multiple battery machines.

If you need charging, then more than a jr sounds like a good idea, or if you have a car with a nasty drain, 1/2 amp might not keep it charged over time.

I have both.
The regular battery tender charges faster.
But for battery maintenance like in the winter, I just use the Jr.
I have used the Jr for about 3 years. Its pretty good

So what is this "Battery Tender Plus Advanced" version. The Battery Tender website does not list anything with that name. Is it the Battery Tender Plus with extra words from Costco? What is advanced about it?

I am guessing it should read. "Battery Tender Plus. Advanced battery charger." A little hype in there.

I somehow picked up a link when posted that

I read it as a tender + the ability to be a charger, you get the best of both worlds as they say :)

Get the JR. Had mine for six years without any issues. It works on my cars and bike. I believe the larger versions allow you to charge multiple cars if you have the hook up for it.
