I have several deltrans and one failed, I sent it back to them under warranty and they "tested it" for about 2 weeks until they determined it was faulty and sent a replacement, so they will have me as a customer, I use their products on my zero turn mower and truck during winter. However, since deltran came out with tenders, the next gen is C-Tek tenders but they are higher priced, they come with higher end luxury sport cars so someone smarter than me researched their products and I use one on my garage queen.
I have the Ctek model mus 4.3 and it was assembled in PRC and has a 5 yr warranty. YMMV

I have an old Battery Tender I bought in 2000 for my Seadoo that I now use for my motorcycle. It has been kicked and dragged across the garage floor more times than I can count. The green indicator light on the front is missing and the steel cover is bent out on one corner but the thing still works like a champ!

I have one I bought back in '96 that has hit the (concrete) floor many times. The light disappeared, so I drilled out the rivets, put everything back where it should be (led still working), straightened the case a bit and screwed it back together. Still works fine.

I own Battery Minder model 2012 & 2012AGM versions.

We have an X6 that doesn't move for 6 months a yr down in FL, it's plugged into the AGM version. Fantastic product. The desulphating operation has revived more than one previously useless battery.

Up here, my 7k KW generator has a 2012 on it at all times, and my electric trolling motor deep-cycle battery also has one taking care of it.

FYI, my bud in FL had a Battery Tender connected to his sailboat motor battery. It boiled the 2 yr old battery and turned the electrolyte into rock-hard black icky stuff.

I use C-Tek. Have about 7 of them. They have never let me down. Got 9 years out of a 2006 Ford battery.

I have used 5 Battery Tenders and Jrs(Deltran)for about 15 years. They are great, but I find they last between 6 and 8 years before they need replaced. No,issues until they just quit.
I am updating the new ones to Battery Minders that have the desulphation mode during the tending. I can tell a difference in the older batteries after they are on the Battery Minder for several months. I rotate them in place of the Battery tenders every couple of moths. As the Battery tenders quit, each will be replaced with new technology. These are much better. They have smaller ones that are about $40, and larger ones with multiple amperages that can be used as chargers.
