Battery Tester

I have LOTS of older batteries that I would like to test and get rid of those that are worthless. These have come from lawn equipment, boats, motorcycles and a few cars. What is the recommended tester
#1 "toaster style"

#2 Digital tester

#3 BIG Carbon pile (500 AMPS)

#4 OLD SCHOOL (Fox Valley ET785 ($100 with charger and cart CL))

The Hf digital work quite well and for the price is very accurate def one of their better items and with a coupon can't be beat

1year over 100 batteries tested with no issues

As he said above Who the hell wants to get stuck on the side of the road because of a used battery just collect the core charge at the junk yard is 15 each here in the north east

Take them in to Autozone they will charge and test them for you and if there no good they will give you $5.00 in store credit at least for automotive batteries.

When we moved a training center .......we had a tough time giving 10 VAT 40 away.

Many Tech schools would not take them being totally obsolete. I am not saying do not work just saying the battery technology testing has moved on which maybe good or bad.

Dealer and the manufactures moved on to electronic tester.

when i occasionally get curious i just use the midtronics tester we have at work
