BD Drill Model Number and how old?

I have one of these as excess in to my military Common #1 Tool Set collection. I was about to list it and found that the data plate is scratched where the model number is. I can see a 1?? think a "-" and then maybe a 90.


Also, how old is this?

It's 120v 6amp 450 rpm

Rough ballpark of value, it works?

I have to downsize so all my excess has got to go. I'll still have two more newer ones and even one of those will go. Guess there's worse problems than having too many tools....and yes, there is such a thing. After all, how many 8" crescent wrenches does one person need? Is 18 enough or about 15 too many? LOL.

There's one on eBay that the seller says is a model 42 type M. He wants $45 for it. A few other places don't give the model but date it to the 1950s.

That drill was made for a very long time with minor updates.
With the handle style and the logo style I am going to guess 70s leaning to the earlier 70s
That logo came out in the 60s and was used through the late 70s if I recall
