Hi all, I think I post here as it seems to a new game plan from a scam here. If I am wrong, my apologies, but nothing wrong to be careful. @moderators, please feel free to delete or move the post if it appears to be inappropriate. But in my opinion, we need to stick this one in order to raise an awareness.
Here is what happened. I posted in a “wanted” thread on intends to buy the missing wrenches to make up a set. In a few hour. I got a private message from someone who just has just (or maybe not even) registered in GJ. In the pm, it is referring an email who might have what I wanted. This is where it sounds suspicious. Upon establishing the communication, the individual was asked for cash payments, and when I was asking for for the pictures, I got the pictures of some different wrenches. So please be aware and be alert. Again, I wish I was wrong, but let’s be careful and be alert not to fall into a potential scam.
