Beach Carry Box

I recently picked up a very clean Beach Carry Box for my Brit bike tools. Although the brand has been discussed here, this is the first Beach box I have actually seen. Could I have some comments on the quality of this brand and location of a date code, if any. This was a Craigslist find, paid $40.

Looks like a very nice example of a B213. They were very well made, from about the seventies.

There are a lot of Beach boxes in garages here.

Beauty! I have the same one in my garage that I bought new in the early 80's. They are a Canadian brand.

Thanks for the input guys. I don't know what the box was used for--I picked it up from the seller's wife, but only some light scuffing that I was able to remove with some rubbing compound and then some Maguire's wax. Looks like it's lead a sheltered life.
