I have bought a few beach made tool boxes.
A 12 drawer roll cab, branded autopro (I'm in the uk).
A 6 drawer top box, presumably branded autopro under the snap on sticker.
A 6 drawer top box branded Gray (was brought to the UK by a Canadian guy.
And a 2 draw middle box with no standing, I assume these didn't have any.
They range from a little tatty to pretty rough but haven't decided yet how far to go with sorting them out.
I'm getting quite interested in the brand though, and the various reading that went on. I keep finding out about more!
I have been looking for old adverts. Most I have found online link back to this forum, but it's hard to find them. They are scattered all over the place.
Is there anywhere with them all in one place?
If not, could that place be here?
Any adverts for and beach made box no matter the brand?
Also, I assume different brands had different products in their range? By that I mean was the full range only available as beach, and other brands, like Gray for example, may not have offered the whole range? Or was everything available with every badge?
I'm just curious and interested.
I'm really liking these boxes so far, seem very well made.
Thanks
Oh, and hi, first post. Got a few old tools and machinery, lathes, drilled, power saws etc. Mostly dating from 1900-1950s.
