Beach toolbox parts

Hello all,

I've recently come across a NOS top and bottom Beach chest. I've been using it for a couple of months but my model (and the most popular model it seems) only has three drawers in the bottom roller chest. Does anyone know of anywhere to buy replacement parts (in southern Ontario please)? Beach being bankrupt I can't of course buy through them and I've tried former distributors hoping they would have stock left -but no luck. Is there a collector who sells or can you point me in the direction of swap meets where I might be able to find Beach parts?

Thanks,
Justin

I'm sure one of the Southern Ontario members will be along that can help you out. I buy most of mine off Kijiji and scrap the odd one for parts.

Welcome to the GJ.

Your best source is KIJIJI.

There was a good looking 12 drawer (upper) unit for $15 in Oshawa a couple of days back....anybody here grab it??

Assume yours is like the one pictured?

Both Canadian Tire and Sears sold these under their own brands. I'm not sure if Canadian Tire lists parts, but it's worth a shot. You used to be able to get parts for stuff at Sears, but the Craftsman version have different (colour and handle style) drawers.

Hi guys, thanks for all the replies.
I watch Kijiji religiously but most listings arent very close by and those that are get snapped up quickly.

I did see that Oshawa kijiji listing --whoever bought it got an awesome deal!

Lilredex : mine's like this (not my box)

Great ideas Mike and Cobbler!

Cheers,
Justin

I actually have made drawers for mine - they still need paint, and I had to modify some slides. I had them lasercut and formed on a brake press. Will post pictures when it's done, maybe over Christmas. In addition to standard 2" and 4" drawers, I was able to make 3" deep drawers (it just makes the drawers location specific by where the other half of the slide is welded on).
