Hi all!
First, I wanted to thank all contributors for the great posts and for sharing excellent ideas about garages, tools, space organization, etc.

Inspired by posts about old and second-hand tools I started looking for used toolboxes, vise etc on local craigslist and kijiji.

The first score was old Reed vise, then I got metal storage cabinet and now I bought older Beach toolbox.

It's small and not high end, but for the price I paid I am really happy with it.

Drawer sliders need attention and I would like to pull out the drawers, disassemble and grease the sliders.
I really can use some tips how to pull out drawers before I break anything.

Thanks in advance!

More pictures. Upparently, it's low end 'DIY for home buyer' line. But no complaing for $30 and cool sticker from '85 adds to the value :)

Looks good to me. What's behind those doors...some drawers? Let's see more pics...esp. for those of us not all that familiar with Beach boxes!

Not trying to hijack. Here's mine. Dear old dad bought it new in 1979. Sorry for the lousy cell-phone pics.

Val C: It didn't know Beach had a homeowner's line of boxes. I thought they were industrial/mechanics only. Very interesting! There's a Beach tool box similar to mine but with a handle on top for sale at a local industrial supply store, brand new, same color as mine. They want C$260 :shocking: You made a great score. Enjoy!
