Hi I have a HF type bead roller and adding a DC motor. I found one that is 90v, 525:1, RPM 3.2 and torque 340in lbs. Im wondering is this could work with a speed control. Does getting a 12v or 90v matter?

cant I just buy a 90v power supply. Is there a way to be able to plug in wall?
Sure. 0-90volt motor DC power supply on ebay. $38. Connect 120 vac to 2 terminals, connect motor to 2 terminals, done. 90 volts is common for variable speed DC motors. There are many supplies out there, that was just the first one I pulled up. Just make sure the supply can handle the current requirements for your motor. You didn't say how much current your motor draws. AC is usually the primary source of the power. This is what is in treadmills.
