i have this old brown & boggs bead roller

anyone know where to find dies for this bad boy ?? i'd like to find some that make louvers for a start

If nobody answers here, post or look on Metalmeet or Allmetalshaping.
There are a lot of smart metal fabricators on those sites & I know dies have been discussed before.
Maybe Hoosier profiles or Dagger tools?
I'm sure someone on MM or AMS will know, or just search the topics there.

get a louver punch and die....

and use a press......all the louvers will be EXACTLY the same

Yeah, I don't think I have ever heard of louver dies for a bead roller. My bead roller has dies that will cut - so I imagine that you might be able to modify a set to deform and cut, but the amount of material loss through shrinkage would be really high and hard to control.

My cousin has a press and dies that he uses for his louver making.

i checked out hoosier profiles and i have to admit i never really thought about making my own dies until i read that they will custom make them for you .. utter lack of thought on my part
