Middle of nowhere.
John Deere b series cabs use the same latch as the imported speedway latch only made in the USA.

This is what I used when I did my 36 Ford 18 years ago.

ive used the AVS power bear latch kits in a few cars and one of their other latch kits in my 84 c10. super easy to set up, i think when i put them in my truck i had the latches in and functioning with the key fob in an afternoon.
i'll be using this kit in a 37 chevy panel im working on for someone and mounting it in the door jamb to retain the use of the handle shaft mechanism inside the door. not the cheapest option but they have great customer support and the quality is top notch and just goes together too easy.

No i didn't, but I would have as I am always looking to support American "little" guys.
I have been looking for a source of these latches as I had one from a AG tractor and needed its twin for the other side, I found them on Speedway and ordered them up.

Not true about Speedway, cannot speak for the latches, and probably any place you buy them from were made in china.

However Speedway has a good size fab shop that they make loads of the raw parts they sell, a good company.

I used to be a dealer for Total Performance and the quality and standard of goods from Speedway are not as good as they used to be from Total Performance. If they (Speedway goods) are made in the USA then it is a sad state of affairs. When I got goods from Total Performance I got quality goods.

If you can not speak for the latches then what other products from Speedway can you not speak for ?

Much like the latches, steering columns and the fans etc. from the Hoffman Group in fact I have seen those products fail drastically.

Have you ever heard the old saying -
"Quality is remembered long after the Price is forgotten".

I sell made in USA latches. Have sold over 1000 sets with zero returns or quality problems. But you found some good latches, so no need for a sales pitch.

I also have the install kit parts to make the install easier. If your 38 Ford is like my 37 Ford, the installation kit makes it an easier process. I can help you out with those parts if you need them.
