So I could use a bearing/seal installer. With Sears surprise points I can get the OTC for about $43 + tax. I was all ready to order it until I went on Amazon and saw the Alltrade 948004. Other than the case it looks very similar and both have excellent reviews. It's only $29 vs the $43. Is the OTC worth the extra? What do you guys recommend, or are there other brands I should look at?

Last year I was doing the same as you comparing several different branded sets and settled in the end for a no-name 10 pc set off ebay that looks otherwise identical for closer to $20 shipped. It works exactly as it should. I've had no complaints.

I bought a set from "Stars and Stripes Tools". I paid around 30.00 for it and it works real good for my needs but I'm not a professional.

Depending on what you are working on there really is not a good "do everything" bearing and seal installer. Most automotive seals, camshaft and crankshaft, need the correct tool for the application to install correctly. Same with bearings. Way to many sizes to have one tool do everything. I probably have a hundred (not exaggerating) purchased or home-made tools for installing various bearings, races and seals.

I think this is the best set out there for seals & bushings up to 3" OD: https://www.amazon.com/OTC-27794-3-Bushing-Driver/dp/B000NP3FMM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491182100&sr=8-1&keywords=27794
