Hello Gents,
Looking at buying a 3700 for $200.
It's the 5 1/2 foot floor model and looks to be in good shape other that a new switch wired to the side of it.
What are your thoughts on this model?
Thanks
Rod

Great drill press and very beefy. Cant really tell you what I think about the one you're looking at without any pics but beware these do not have sealed bearings and mostly likely will need servicing; luckily its not too hard to do. If it's $200 loonies, then that's a good price, assuming everything is there, complete and nothing is broken, damaged or missing? Does it have the belt cover?

Check the return spring, make sure its not broken as they've had problems and hard to find replacements but there's a company on Amazon that makes you one based on your measurements.

Here's a link on how to rebuild the head:

Thanks for the reply.
I emailed him to ask if it works etc. He replied back that everything works as it should. When I emailed an hour later with an offer, it was already sold. I think I missed a good one.
