Beaver 93200 Tablesaw Fence Repair Help

Hi all,

I purchased this old Beaver Rockwell table saw and with a little effort it is working amazingly. One issue I have is that the fence does not clamp down with enough pressure so that it does not move and/or have play. Nothing is broken on the clamping mechanism, but I assume there is enough wear that it isn't locking properly. Has anyone out there refurbished one of these? Any help is appreciated.

I can't find a good pic of your fence, but in some fences there are ways to tighten the clamping force. Some have a rod running front to back that there are hack ways to tension. If only clamping at the front, bending the clamping face, shimming the clamping face, etc have been rumored to work.

as mentioned above, is there a center rod that runs from the front to the back? if there is, I'm sure there's an adjustment nut somewhere that can be tweaked to tighten it
