Replacing the rotted leaking decking outside the bedroom. The contractor has suggested spraying a Rhino type bed liner. He knows someone with a portable spray setup, comes in wide choice of colors and is skid proof.
Anyone ever done this or have opinions? (I know everyone has opinions:eyecrazy:)

It would be durable but it would fade really bad over the years if it's a dark color.

Why not do a composite deck boards over the wood frame?

PPG (yes the company that makes car paint) mades a deck restore product. Similiar to the **** you can buy at Home Despot but much better. I used it on the rotting/cracking bed of my flat bed two years ago. Thee truck has hanger seen a garage and is used to move heavy equipment/car parts/machine tools. It has held up great. As an added bonus it looks good too. It is also meant for decks and outside, unlike rhino liner. If your read their disclaimers you are supposed to protect rhino liner from UV or it fades badly.
