I'm a Hamb guy who has been watching for a while but haven't needed to comment or ask for help until now.I bought a house with an attached 3325.00 garage. Its in lower Delaware.winters are mild to cold and summers can be hot.Im thinking about installing radiant heat in the already installed concrete floor.l met with a contractor and he is talking about cutting grooves in the floor for the tubing then filling in and sanding followed by a high quality epoxy coating.Has anyone done this or have a any thoughts.thanks

FSD: you probably should ask that question by starting a thread in the general garage section where more members might see it. not a lot of members check this introduction thread and i didn't know it really existed until a few months ago.

good to see you have a nice size garage now and that you decided to join our group. i have heard there is a downside to the floor heat that it takes a while to heat up. have you thought about a pellet stove or a ceiling heater to save the cost of installing floor heat in an already existing floor?

good luck and welcome
