The details:

Garage is a 32x30 960 sq/ft
I Pre-preped by laying down the extra house wrap to keep sheet-rock mud and paint off the floor. This saved tons of time cleaning the floor.

I used the same house wrap to protect the sheet-rock and primer from water while washing and etching the floors.

we washed the floor, scrubbed and paint and mud up, then etched one side with epoxy-coat kit etch and the other side I used 50/50 Muratic acid etch. I would say the results were about the same. I then re-etched using the same method just switching the Epoxy-coat etch and muratic acid etch sides.

Rinsed twice then put down two large Sam's club bags of baking soda. Scrubbed in and rinsed, and rinsed again. Let dry and the next day I had a slight film. Rinsed and scrubbed a second day and let dry. Dried and was film free.

Today Saturday 11/5/11 at High noon we started. Temp was 51F and Humidity was 61% and dropping like a rock. by the time we got done which was 2.5 hours later the temp was 60F and the humidity was 30%.

We laid down the Beige kit with standard flakes. We mixed a pound of red blend flakes I picked up at Sherwin-Williams. Used half of the mix. I would have mixed less of the standard blend had I know I would use half.

Also used half a large bottle of shark grip. not sure of how it turn out until I can walk on it.

Plan on giving it 48 Hours before I even walk on it. a week before a car hits it.

If I had to do it over again I think a extra half kit would have been nice for the added thickness. we where scrapping the bucket for product at the end.

I also would have mixed in the shark grip instead of broadcasting it.

The shark grip is so fine it should drop into the epoxy and disappear. If it was mixed into it the same thing would happen.

If, after it cures you think it gave an anti slip finish it would be interesting to know.

I think it is for use with thin sealers or clear coatings.

Good coating job looking at the pics.

Is it beige or gray? It looks gray?

Looks great, nice garage! Please let us know how the shark grip works with it being sprinkled. I've wondered which is better, mixed or sprinkled on top.

What I would suggest is putting in a small subpanel, like a 4/8, 70 amp. Keep in mind that u can't have more than 6 disconnects without a main breaker, which shouldn't be a problem since u will have 2 double pole breakers! U could pull 4 #6 THHNs in the 3/4" EMT and be ok(with code, maybe not your hands and back

You mention an extra half kit, but what did you start with? My garage is 28x32 so I'm interested in your quantity. Thanks.
