Asking if I should remove some awkward hanging shelf that was built for a hot water heater. The consensus was to TEAR IT OUT...and I agreed. I finally got around to purchasing the replacement pieces and removing that goiter. Here are the before/after pics. I think the choice was correct.

The compressor is now in the bathroom shower and a rapid air system is in place with 4 outlets on either side of the garage.

on the backside of the garage...what i am currently working on:

havent gotten to organizing everything on this side yet. Garage still needs lots of things to finish it.

*Finish hanging the MAxjax hoses correctly...had one hose lengthened
*more cabinets instead of shevles
* coat garage floor...already have the stuff...will do this after the car is back together
* garage screens getting installed next week. That way I can get some airflow and light without the dogs escaping

...and other stuff.

LOL...yes...in the shower. This garage has a full bathroom. I will never use the shower. Its currently storage...so I put the compressor in it. However I am careful not to change or damage the bathroom at all. The house is a 3 bedroom 3 bath because of the extra bath built in to the garage. i dont want to lose that for resale.

The wire are not capped...however the breaker is tripped. A small tankless hotwater heater will eventually go there.

Looks good so far--I'm framing my new garage now and was looking at the air system you have-any problems with it so far and would you recommend one?
Thinking of putting one in my garage but I'd like to bury the lines in the wall.

Actually...those fittings ****. They are very shallow and hard to seat properly without leaking. You can find other QD fittings that seat much deeper and dont leak. I havent had time to locate them yet...but I will likley replace all these QD fittings at some point.

When I do the floors and walls I may attempt to put them in the walls. Sure will be easier for you if you do it during the build. The manifolds are all good quality and have threaded holes in the rears for running lines in the walls.

ceiling height: too damn low

Its roughly an 8 foot ceiling...maybe a bit more. The MaxJax will go all the way up. But I do wish I had a regular lift. But the MaxJax does the job for the ceiling I have.

I just shot mine and it is 9' 5" it's not great, but for what I want to do I think it's usable.

Epoxy of the floors is next for sure. i have to get the car done first so I can stow the Maxjax.
Car is getting a rear end swap, different driveshaft, shock/spring swap, lifters need R&R as well as rockers, cam swap and cylinder heads need new valve springs. At the rate I am going it will be a few weeks.
