Yes, That was my first Garage...low ceiling and all.
To paint it, I had to drive it into my Garage on its Rims. Then to Paint the Roof, I parked it on my back Patio and had to stand on my Picnic Table.

Told Myself that I would never do another Van after that...

And here a couple of after pics. It had been totally gutted and parted out when I bought it. All it had for drivetrain was the original 3:91 9inch traction loc rearend. No interior, except for a few mouse nests.

That Mustang is a Rag to Riches. Nice job!!! Hooters girls are nice too.

KCarGuy....nice job on all of the rides. I've always had a thing for the older rods with the big back meats and little fronts. Those all look fantastic!! What year were a lot of them taken? Mid 80's?

The Mach 1 pics were taken in 94-95. Still sittin' in the garage. Next project is a '64 Fairlane 2dr.hardtop that will have Mustang II coil overs up front, a '92 302 EFI roller motor out of a GT backed by an AOD and a 9 inch floater rearend. By the way Robert, thats the sweetest lookin' '65 Fairlane I think I've ever seen.

Thanks 69scj, it has quite a bit of metal work in it, especially for a race car. trunk lid opening, rain gutters, you name it. Here's the album, starting on the last page (the beginning?). Some of the "fixes" may help you out on your 64. (BTW...Nice work on the Mach 1....)

Here's another project, the owner had an unfortunate "run in" with a deer.

That reminds me of a friends Camaro. He bought it when he turned 16. It was bone stock 250 I6 w/ powerglide and 3.08 gear. He built the piss out of the 6 banger and trans and put a posi in it. That car was a blast and was the only car Iv'e ever ridden in that would scratch in second at 75-80 mph. He now has 700hp 502 w TH400 and 4.56 gears in it and it sets in the garage never to be driven. He said he has never had a car that was as much fun to drive as when it had the built I6 in it.

Finished another HD this weekend, it had been bumped from the rear and needed a new fender. Owner wanted to paint the whole thing. In stripping the tank, we found some previous damage. Pulled the dent, smoothed things out, applied silver base and apple red candy. Also mixed in some alabaster white pearl in the candy. This thing popped so much in the sun, the camera couldn't take it.....

The "off the shelf" version had clearance issues with the carb, and still two inches to go for closing. So we added 2" for that plus 3" for air flow, and gave it a lift.....

That is sweeeet! They talked about a small tractor pulling association in our area a few years back which I thought would be cool but they couldn't get the support so it fizzled. Looks great, Mike.
