Hi all,

I'm Bert, 32 years old and living in Limburg, Belgium.
I've owned a lot of cars and since a couple of years the 2 wheels madness has recieved me ;-)
As a petrolhead I want to refurbish my garage under our house. I also detail cars so I want a real good looking detailspace.

The garage is in an "L" shape, dimensions are 7.20meter x 4.5meter, or 23.6feet x 14.76feet, and the other half is 6meter x 4.6meter, or 19.68 feet x 15 feet.
The height of the ceiling 2.10m or 6.9feet isn't optimal with my lenght of 1.94m or 6.4feet.
But even an Rangerover sport fits the garage:

We have bought the house 7 years ago, and we have a lot done in this time.
The house is build around 1980.

The garage:

It's called garage and kelder.

To do list:
Other floor, such like racedeck.
Refurbish the walls.
Pianting everything white.

Br Bert

Thanks.
Everytime when we are in the States, I bring some license plates with me.
It was first the idea to put only the visited States on the wall, but yeah, I like these so much, and it looks like art ;-)

After our vacation I'll start in the garage, first thing to do, make an construction for the walls. The space under the windows are always humid... and it look like sh.. .
So my plan is to make an construction to the wall with some osb plates that will we painted white. I should also make sure the air circulates behind the plates so I will make some vents.

Best regards,
Bert

I was in love with these wheels, but after 1 day I drove to a friend of mine and guess what happens? Thick gravel on there parking...so the polished lip scratched...

So the only option for me, remove the clear coat and sand the lip, and polish them to high gloss :)

Welcome - nice to one more European garage-freak!

Nice garage, especially I like the L-shape of it - gives a lot of opportunities and makes it special....I like that!

Looking forward to see what you can achieve with your plans...

Welcome, nice cars you don't see in the US. I have been wondering why you guys run wheels that are wider than the tire tread? Are the tires available designed to run like this?

Welcome to GJ.

Nice garage with plenty of potential.
Cool looking rides, especially that ****** you used to own.
I often see an ****** for sale cheap and think about picking it up for some serious modifications but have yet to pull the trigger.
Keep the pictures coming.

The stretched look is quite common in the European (and some other) custom scenes. It's done with any common tire, the amount of stretch is a case of personal taste. But the further you take it, the more of a danger it becomes. The stretch on these tires is only minimal and nothing to worry about.

@derpassat: welcome to GJ! Nice rides and garage!

Nice CQ, I have tornado red one, it they are very special cars, not sure anything else compares.
It seems that everybody that has had one and sold it eventually regrets the sale and starts looking for another one.
My long term plan is to pass mine on to my daughter, but she needs to change her ways when it comes to car care before that's gonna happen.

Thanks, many cars with wide wheels in the rear will put on a streched tyre. These tyres are to small for the wheel, and sometimes it give problems...

I definitely prefer the audi wheels on the wagon. Something about Audi wheels on a VW really works. Well the offsets and widths are always on point which helps.

Car #7; Again Vw Passat 3BG, 1.9tdi 130hp.
Bought the car in Germany, the prices are better than in Belgium. The import doens't cost much, only 0.50euro, and you will have to go to the Belgian car inspection.

When I've just drove it with the garageplates.
