I know its a "No-No" to route Cat5 & Coax along with Power...how about 24v Bell Wire? Specifically for my Garage Door Openers? Can I just run 2 pairs of Bell wire in the same 7/8" holes thru my studs along with my 14-2?

Does anybody know of a nice Box plate which offers nice Bell Wire "Termination" I'm just thinking ahead...Would be slick & elegant if I could put a duplex box with Lo-Volt seperator in it, have my power for the 2 GDO's and Bell wire nicely terminated somehow?

No low voltage wiring in the same space (conduit/hole) as power wires. Can you do it? Yes. Will it meet code? Not really. Would I do it? Probably.

As for a cover, something custom is what you might end up with. Look at coverplates made for custom high end home audio installations that have speaker terminals on them. But you can buy the terminals at Radio Shack and a double cover with one blank side (the other side outlet) would let you fabricate something up.

I have seen it done and never seen anyone called on it.
The current is running for less that a second after all.
