Way overdue for a new garage update here we go. The garage is getting very close to being finished and I will have to wait until the rest of the house catches up. My walls and trim was painted with white semi-gloss. My light fixtures are installed and we are hoping to actually have power this coming week. The garage doors were installed to my satisfaction and will be followed up with Liftmaster front mount garage door openers.

Wall between storage room door and shop area has a 20 amp dedicated outlet for my lift. There is two light switches, one for the shop area and the other for the two overhead four-tube T8 lights, these lights were separated in order to be on both sides of the cars on the lift. Also the garage door opener button for the single door is here.

The garage doors were mounted offering the max ceiling area height available.

The right had side of my shop area will have my tool boxes along the wall leaving about 3 inches. The top of right wall in the garage will be a perfect spot of working traffic signal.

What no pictures of the R2 engine? Quit teasing us!

Thanks for asking! It is the original numbers matching 289 Studebaker engine with a factory Paxton Supercharger. Studebaker owned Paxton during this time. An R2 Avanti is Paxton equipped, an R1 version has a regular carburetor engine.

Very nice! You have great cars - I'd enjoy having either of them, but the Stude is very sweet!

You've made lots of nice finish touches in the garage and workroom - the Studebaker sign is fab. The red floor also looks very nice - epoxy, paint, or?

Oh, and Welcome to Texas!

Awesome job!!

Question: What are the dimension of this space?

My work shop are is 12 feet wide and 10 feet deep. The length of all my tool boxes determined the depth.

Oh, and Welcome to Texas!

My floor was done by Garagewerx of Texas and is a polyurethane type finish. It is one coat finish that has brilliant shine. It has no clear coat. Its red and that's the finish.

Thanks for asking guys! Mike

Thanks for the dimensions. I think I might borrow your idea of having the workbench as and island. Did you put an electrical outlet in the floor? I assume so since I see a drill press.

No outlet in floor. There is an outlet to the right of the window. The workbench is a perfect fit, got at Sam's, very well built. This area has slightly changed, I will post up a current pic this coming week.

Let's see. Love the Avaniti and Paxton Supercharger, love the oil pump, love the light with grilles and love the new cabinet from Ikea. Oh and the house and garage aren't too shabby either. Looks like you're really enjoying the new place, happy for you.
