Loosen the motor mounts to remove tension. Make sure there are no ridges on the pulley grooves from belt wear otherwise the pulley should be replaced. Install new belt. Align the outer and inner edge of drive and driven pulley with a straight edge, if the distance is great I have seen some use a long string. You can use a belt tension guide to get the correct "tightness", or a very rough rule of thumb is 1/64 inch deflection for each inch of free span. There is a fine line between too loose (inefficient) and too tight (stresses belt, bearings). Once properly tightened you should still have take up in the motor mount for future re-tightening. Otherwise consult equipment manual to verify belt # .
