I use my 2 bench grinders A LOT,well 1 is a grinder and 1 is for polishing, and they make a mess, ecp the polisher, compound and buff threads everywhere.I polish manifolds on the side.I covered the wall behind said polisher with stainless but still can take hours to keep clean. With the building of my new shop I'm hopeing someone can show me a better idea.Inside some kind of box wont work because of the size of the parts being worked on.

I would suggest getting a large newpsprint pad of paper, designed to be put on an easel for meetings. Put that in front of your stainless sheet, and that would catch alot of the the mess. Just tear off the paper and get a new sheet every once in a while.

I did a quick search and found these:

You could find something cheaper probably. Look for newsprint instead of quality paper.

Thanks 54ford good idea maybe even some sort of static cling plastic sheet. No guards installed because of size of the stuff I'm usually polishing, manifolds, blowers and such.Does any have pics of dust collector sys. hook ups on grinders?
