Does anyone recognize the make of this grinder? I cannot see any ID on it. But that On/Off switch configuration (if original) should provide a clue to anyone who has seen it before.

Here's one with a nameplate. It's made in Taiwan.

Muchas gracias. I think I'll wait for a decent condition CMan block grinder or Baldor.

PF: I inherited one of those grinders from a renter and until i could afford my first Baldor grinder it never missed a beat sharpening up lawnmower blades and anything i threw at it. i found it sitting on a shelf and sold it on craigslist for $30 a couple years ago to young guy that loves it. of course a block, baldor or several other grinders are built to run all day, but this one will work fine until you find one of the other ones.

turn it on and let it run and if you don't hear any strange sounds it might be worth buying.
