Thats’s awesome! With regular maintenance, I reckon they can last that long. My wire wheel keeps spinning when I shut it off. It seems off kilter compared to the other wheel. I don’t know whether to replace the bearing or what to do. Any ideas?10 year old bearings should automatically be replaced? Seriously? I have a bench grinder from 1946 with the original bearings. It's works great.
Of course, you have to find the exact right size replacements, that’s what you do when you replace bearings. It’s really not that difficult, look at the old bearing,get the numbers off of it. Buy a new one.Depends on whether they're pressed on the arbor--considering the age and brand, they might be. You'll have to find the exact correct size replacements, and you won't know that until you tear it apart. Unless some expert in here can tell you precisely what size they are and where to order them without having inspected them first.
