For many years I've had this General bench grinder set up. It works great but I want to clean it up and give it a repaint but I can't get the arbor out of the bearings. Can anyone offer some insight, please?

If it's like the one I just rehabed, there is a set screw in the pulley on the arbor. Loosen the set screw, remove the wheels and it should slide out.

That's a nice old set up and thanks but I figured it out.

The arbor has shoulders for the bearing on both ends. I had to loosen the pulley then tap the arbor all the out one side with the bearing still attached. Then I tapped the second bearing out the other side. Piece of cake really.
