Is there any chance Ace, Home Depot or anywhere local would have rubber isolators like these?

Why not pich up some rubber stoppers and make them work? Ace carries them in a variety of sizes.

I think I've seen something like that in HD in the drawers where they keep the oddball hardware stuff.

Menards carries similar rubber insulators, labeled for use on air compressors. They are small enough I would think they would work well on a bench grinder as well. If not, I'm sure they could be trimmed down easy enough

I purchased the feet for my vintage Craftsman block grinder at my local Ace hardware a while back. In addition to having an exact fit for my project they had several other varieties to choose from. They were located in the section with the nut and bolt bins.

If by chance you just want to buy dome nice ones the company that makes them (or did), was called LORD. They always made mounting insulators for washing machine and small electric motors, aircraft instruments and even reciprocating aircraft engine mounts.

Ace a number of pads on their website, several look very similar to your photo. https://www.acehardware.com/departm...rniture/protective-furniture-pads?pageSize=90

Yeah I'll be going there after all.

I ordered the ones in the link and got a prompt email saying I should have them in a week. Cool.

Then I get an email tonight in broken English about shipping from China, 30 days, customs, blah blah.

I was willing to wait a week to get it mounted, not a month. To Ace I'll be going.
