Hey all, I did a couple things in the garage yesterday and I thought I'd share. I just moved in to my first house early November and I am still situating where I want things in the garage. Yesterday I put in the flueorscent lights, made a bench grinder stand out of some exhaust tubing, plate steel and my spare from my Camaro that is useless now because I can no longer run a spare with the wheels I have, and I put up the organizer and Harbor freight cabinet. The cabinet is actually pretty decent quality for the price and if anyone is thinking about it, I would definitely say go for it.

I built my stand about the same way, works good......why can't you use the spare if needed?

My wheels are different widths front and rear so i cant bring the front wheel to the back or the back wheel to the front if i got a flat cause it would put a lot of strain on the true trac I have in the rear. So if it ends up with a flat I have AAA lol

I sure hope you didn't weld on the rim with the tire mounted!!!! They can go Boooommmm when welding on them mounted.

I cant watch that vid cause Im at work. I did think about that though....kinda took my chances like an idiot lol I did pull the valve stem out while welding however

It's still useable, just be more like a gladiator chariot.:D

What's done to the SS?

Its a heads cam car (ported LS6 heads and a torquer v.2 cam) with headers full exhaust, Dana 60 rear with 4.10s, Prothan motor mounts, Ram air kit, lid, Line lock, hotchkis lowering springs and bilstein shocks, UMI sway bars, UMI weld in subframe connectors, Pro 5.0 shifter, its tuned....a whole bunch of other stuff im sure im forgetting hahaha

Awesome! I remember when I was just cam only lol. 404 LS2 with trick flow 235 heads, Pat G custom cam, ARH headers, moser 9" bla blah. It was more fun with the 10 bolt and cam!
