Bench grinder wheels - 1/2" arbor bushing

Hi. I have an older grinder with 6 x 3/4 x 1/2" arbor wheels. Seems hard to find that size wheel. Is it common to just buy 1" arbor wheels and use a bushing? And if so, where to buy the bushing?? Also a good place to buy the wheels. Thanks.

I've never had much luck with the bushings that are included with wheels. I usually make my own out of wood.

Buy a drill bushing. Best and final solution to your issue.

I just bought two Powertech 6" x 3/4" x 1/2" wheels on Amazon. One 36 grit and one 100 grit. They were about $11 apiece.
