Bench ideas for a small garage

hi all. i'm hoping to get some ideas for a fold-away style bench. i have a typical 2 car attached garage, but due to all the **** we have, i don't have enough space for something either permanent or mobile. i was thinking of possibly some type of bench that i could hinge to a wall and fold up out of the way when not in use.

ideally, i'd like a nice long bench with cabinets above, shelves below, peg board for the tools, a nice big vise... etc. but until i get more space, that just isn't gonna happen.

as it is now, with my project vehicle in there, i've only got about 3 feet of clearance on the wall side, and maybe 4 feet on the other side (before i start encroaching on the other stall). this doesn't leave a whole lot of room to move let alone having parts, tools etc. around too. but i need a work surface.. badly. i've been using one of those work-mate tables but it just doesn't cut it. has anyone made a stowable, fold-up bench or table?

after poking around on a couple threads, i see some of you guys have made some. do any of you happen to have any close up pics of how you attached it to the wall, what hinges were used, how the legs are attached etc? that would be most helpful.

If you did a search, you probably saw pictures of mine. My woodworking one is pretty straightforward: use big hinges and screw them into the wall studs -- then add support underneath for the bench to rest on when it's in the down position, so you're not stressing the hinges with weight or hammer blows.

If you want close-ups of anything, post here and I'll try to take them for you.
