I'm after some inspiration guys, has anyone build a bench where their cab rolls under it? I just dont have space for mine to be out on the floor, but I'm worried about the height I'd have to build my bench for it to roll under.

My cab is like this, but from the 80's... about 1m tall.

When I still lived at home I didn't have room for my toolbox and a work bench, so I built a work bench over my toolbox (yours would be taller though). I have room for another box now, but I still use my home built work bench.

I have been parking mine under the bench for the last 15 years.
The bench is a little high, but I find I use some roll around work tables more than the workbench.
The work tables park under the bench also.

BTW, You are how tall??

I'm 6'3, I'm just concerned that things like hack sawing on my big vice would be rubbish, not that I do that every day !

If you could fabricate a L shaped bracket the could bolt to the bottom where the wheels are you could bolt the wheels to the side and just leave enough of the wheel to touch the ground and lower the box several inches. It would have to be a stiff bracket like a 4 or 5 inch steel L beam
just a thought

After 20+ years of using my old Craftsman workbench as it was, I did a complete makeover on it. Then I decided to build extensions on each end for some cheap roller cabinets to fit under. I am sure your cabinet is taller than mine, but here is how mine turned out.
