Bench Test Cabinets off Gov Liquidation. Any ideas?

Looking at these last night they looked like heavy duty metal benches. They come 4 in a set and it looks like i won 3 lots with a total of 12 benches. Any ideas on what they are or can be used for?

Well I think they're cool as hell. I'd throw some casters on them and use some as work stations.

I though they looked pretty cool at first but then sort of looked like wooden tops? The original manifest shows the gov paid over 1200 each (i know thats exaggerated) but it didnt show any wooden parts. Wasnt sure if my eyes were deceiving me or not.

they look like gage test benches. We had some like that at a factory that I worked at a while back the work surface was steel plate. We also had a work table with a six inch thick stone top so that the scales on top of it would not be affected by vibration.

I say remove the backs and bolt them together for a work bench.

Scrap metal? Just kidding, I'd make two pieces out of them. The bottom gets an new metal top for a welding bench and the back becomes a wall cabinet.
