Can anyone give me directions on how to bench test a stator (removed off of the mower) with a fluke multimeter?

What info do you need? The Kohler engine is a CV41567, and it has the stator that doesn't use an external voltage regulator but uses an in line diode to convert a/c volts to d/c. Anything else please let me know.

maybe you can just look at the schematic.. it's just charging and brake, shares the common ground... so not sure how you would fully test it other than ohm testing/continuity testing... probably you can apply a voltage to the brake and ground leads to check if those stators have magnetized ?

Shop manual link shows a two wire stator depending on the charging output. So continuity between the leads and no continuity to ground would be the normal test.
Shop manual makes it easy.........The resistance of the leads with the model
If resistance is approximately 0.15 ohms, stator is OK for one model

Let me correct that... Its a cv15s-41567. I have resistance from each lead to ground in the middle.
