Entertaining video, but I think that this guy is going to end up seriously hurting himself doing “testing” like this.

I have and old Buffalo branded 5" vice. I bought it for $25 35 years ago. I beat the hell out of it. About 20 years ago I was using it with a BFH to bend some 1/4" steel and the moveable jaw broke right off. I was about as broke as one could be and couldn't afford to replace it. I clamped it together and took my MIG welder and made about 6 passes over the break. It is still holding up well today. Funny thing is it was slightly crooked for years before it broke. Now it is straight and square.

theres a place for annealing and hardening.
Its somewhere between the vice, a sledgehammer and my face.
